Client Background
A nationwide parcel delivery and commercial freight logistics company serving over 4,000 corporate vendors with 52 distribution hubs across the country. Managing high volumes of dynamic status changes, courier route assignments, and merchant invoicing led to severe administrative logjams.
The Challenge
The company had outgrown its legacy visual management tool:
- Massive Query Freezes: Warehouse staff generating end-of-day billing reconciliations locked the primary database table, freezing courier dispatch mobile app responses for minutes at a time.
- Lack of Granular Authorization: Field operators and finance admins operated with overly permissive system privileges, creating compliance hazards and vulnerability to accidental data overwrites.
- No Real-Time Event Sync: Order progress relied on manual page reloads rather than webhooks or live socket feeds.
Our Solution & Technical Strategy
TheWebSolve architected a modular, multi-tenant enterprise portal engineered around distributed event queues and zero-latency caching:
1. CQRS Architecture (Read / Write Separation)
To prevent heavy analytical reporting from ever starving live delivery updates, we implemented Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS). Writes route directly to PostgreSQL, while high-frequency dashboard reads pull from indexed read-replicas.
2. Strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
We engineered an enterprise authorization matrix with cryptographic session rotation, granular resource tokens, and audit-logged operations for every status change, preventing insider fraud and privilege escalation.
3. Real-Time Streaming & Visual Ergonomics
A clean Next.js frontend with optimistic UI updates and live SSE (Server-Sent Events) feeds lets regional managers track trucks, container handoffs, and pending payouts in real time without refreshing.
Results & Business Impact
- Average reporting query latency fell from 18 seconds to 120 milliseconds.
- Supported 140,000+ daily package movements without a single transaction deadlock.
- Eliminated an estimated 22 hours per week of repetitive manual data-entry labor per branch hub.
Our operations dispatch team was previously drowning in manual spreadsheets and slow databases. TheWebSolve designed a dashboard that our warehouse coordinators actually love using. Everything is instant, clear, and bulletproof.
